Crochet Batman assembly detail

Assembly

1. Body Joining: Place Front Left and Front Right panels onto Back Star panel with right sides facing inward. Match points precisely. Using Black yarn, sc around the entire outer boundary of the star shape (leaving the head opening free).
2. Outer Black Border: Work 1 round of sc in Black yarn around all star points to create the crisp outer dark border.
3. Ear Placement: Flatten Bat Ears slightly. Sew symmetrically onto top left and right curves of the Black hood between Rnds 12–16 of hood.
4. Utility Belt: Stitch Utility Belt horizontally across lower front body panel (~2 inches below armpits). Sew Belt Buckle directly over center of belt. Attach Belt Loops vertically over belt on left and right sides.
5. Emblem: Stitch or iron Batman emblem patch onto upper left chest area.
6. Chest Tabs & Fasteners: Sew the 3 Yellow Decorative Tabs along front right placket edge. Fasten hidden snap buttons on underside of placket to align with tabs.

Finishing

Weave in Ends: Secure all remaining yarn tails inside suit seams.

Steam Blocking: Lightly steam-block star points and hood edges using a wet cloth and warm iron to ensure points lie flat and hold shape without curling.

Safety Check: Ensure all sewn parts (snaps, tabs, buckle) are securely attached for safe baby use.
